Yes, all BirkSun solar panels are waterproof, lightweight, and highly durable. Bags are built to withstand rain/wind, however, they cannot be submerged in water.
IS THERE A WARRANTY?
Yes, all BirkSun products are covered under our 1-year manufacturer warranty. This warranty covers the solar panel, battery electronics, and workmanship of the bag.
HOW FAST WILL A BIRKSUN CHARGE MY PHONE?
All BirkSun bags store solar power energy in a battery that will charge your smartphone or tablet at the same speed as a wall outlet. Every 3 minutes the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight it will generate the equivalent of 1% smartphone battery power. From wall outlets, the battery inside the bag will be recharged 1% every minute.
Please check with the individual airline to learn more about their policies for lithium batteries.
HOW FRAGILE ARE THE SOLAR PANELS?
The solar panels are scratch resistant, waterproof, and highly durable. They are built to be used outdoors while hiking and will not be damaged if rain/weather occurs during your activity. The panels weigh less than 1/2 pound.
DO I HAVE TO PAY INTERNATIONAL TAXES AND DUTY?
Your order may be subject to international duty and taxes which are levied by your country upon the arrival of the product. The general amount of duties and taxes is about 20% of the cost of the product, however, this is just a guideline and may vary depending on your country. Please contact your customs office for specific import duties and amounts.
HOW CAN I CHANGE SOMETHING ON MY ORDER?
If you need to change or cancel your order, please email us at info@birksun.com immediately. Once our warehouse has processed your order we will be unable to make changes.
CAN I RETURN MY PRODUCT?
Hit the beach, pack your bags, go nuts at a music festival. If you're not obsessed by day 30, we'll take your BirkSun back for a full refund. Free shipping on the way back for all domestic orders. All bags purchased under $100 - are final sale and cannot be returned.
